After several days on the road driving through the Cape Winelands and the Garden Route we ended up at Wilderness, where we had this fantastic view of the Indian Ocean from our bedroom window.
This was for one night only before we moved onto somewhere with a much more mundane view. Since then we have moved on to Port Elizabeth and are now in Johannesburg where it is currently raining.
We travelled the same route but in the reverse direction a couple of weeks before you. We started in Jo'burg, did a short Kruger safari and then flew down to PE to start the garden route stopping off for a few days at Brenton on Sea (near Knysna), Mossell Bay, Hermanus, Stellenbosch and finally Cape Town. We were there just over 3 weeks but could easily have stayed for 6. The scenery was stunning and the welcome wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Enjoy the remainder of your holiday.
