More perspiration than inspiration

It is certainly looking more like perspiration than inspiration at the moment. My last post Inspiration or perspiration has disappeared. This has never happened to me before. I have sometimes lost posts while I have been writing them but a published post has never gone AWOL. Once something had been published on the Internet I thought that it was impossible to delete it, but that post is nowhere to be found. It must be somewhere out there in cyberspace. My clever husband did manage to find the post saved in the bowels of his laptop. However, I have decided not to try to resurrect it as it was the post only, minus the comments. Thank you to those bloggers who had commented on it. Your thoughts are much appreciated.

Blogger can be frustrating at times, can't it.
A friend of mine has tried to convince me of using wordpress. I prefer the devil I know.

I have been there, and cried out for help with no success! Now, I save often as I draft a post, and still...
Blogger seems to have many glitches, especially since the new upgrades. I threaten to quit now and then, and one day I just might close the doors on all of this.

But not yet!
Hang in there. It's still better and cheaper than sending letters and pictures to pen pals across the ocean.

rosaria - I think that my cranky laptop with a mind of its' own is to blame for some of my problems.

Rob - It has given me something to write about.

There are times that Blogger can drive me mad...some of my old posts have disappeared...a couple of times Blogger won't put up a post...on my Costa Rica blog I can't post automatically, only to a schedule...commenting can be problematical....

Perpetua showed me how to muddle through on Wordpress, but now it seems to be changing too, so really I do not know what to do...

That happened to me once and I did manage to get the post back but the comments were lost.
I'd go bananas if the whole blog got wiped out. I wonder if that could happen.

Sometimes Blogger has a mind of it's own. :(

Poor you, so upsetting. How very strange, are all your other posts there in the posts file? I empathise with the comment from Rosaria, there always seems to be something new to learn at the moment here. I do save my posts as a word document as well though to cover such eventualities nowadays.
