However, we are now at a point where our land drain/ holding tank (collects water and then lets it permeate away gradually) is having to be pumped out to prevent the garden being waterlogged. Fortunately, it’s a much simpler system than a septic tank, so when our pump breaks through overuse, we would hopefully be able to spot it immediately.
